Supra RPG - Demonic Realm



I've been working on a sequel and new content for the original Supra RPG. There has been lot of fixing to be done as I wanted to keep the experience fresh. Original Supra RPG will get a content update that will give one final level and boss to tie it in with the upcoming sequel.

What's new in the Supra RPG II?

-Dozens of bosses
-New levels that can be up to 3x bigger than before!
-New skills & skilltrees
-New items
-Actual dialogue

Skilltrees


Rage, Spell and Endurance.

The skilltrees in Supra RPG didn't really have any synergy together. The skilltrees will be updated to branching trees where you can choose to upgrade specific skill if you want to. There was also a problem with ever-increasing complexity and hence it was hard to keep track how fast the player could get overpowered. (Devastation skilltree and Combustion = Uh-oh).


Rage 

Tree is an offensive tree, for heavy physical damage. But you will be vulnerable.

Spell 

Tree has potential for high magical damage at the cost of mana.

Endurance 

Tree focuses on defensive gameplay where you focus on survival.


Items


The items posed a problem in original Supra RPG as well. There were couple of REALLY overpowered weapons. There was also a problem where the player would just change the weapon if he got a new one, because it's probably better anyways. This problem was partly remedied with "special" -skills that added special attributes to items (such as giving chance of firing a spell towards enemy) that changed to gameplay. The player could then switch their talents to suit the new items. Problem with one-time-treasures is obviously that you won't revisit the dungeons often, or ever. 

I'm aiming to build a system where there is a chance for different items from the treasure chest or boss. There would be a small chance to get unique weapon from the chest but more often than not, you would get something else. With bosses you would always get specific item from a set pool of items. With harder difficulties you would have chance for even stronger weapons etc. 

The main idea is to increase the replayability of the game. Whether it's a some sort of a highscore list or evolving content it needs to be there!

Supra RPG 1.6.0.0 & 1.6.0.1 WP8

Supra RPG - 1.6.0.0 Update

Supra RPG has always been a bit laggy on windows mobile devices. This patch aims to fix the problems with the performance. Hope the game is more enjoyable now!

-Performance-

*Up to 100% Increased FPS.
*40% Reduced package size.

-Features-

*Added sound effects.
*Fixed music&sounds for WP 8.1

-Balance-

*Fixed the Arcane Lance and several other skills that were able to do damage multiple times on the same entity.

-Known Issues-

*LevelUp message is not showing up (you still get the level up bonuses)
-1.6.0.1 Will fix the mentioned problem.

Supra RPG - 1.6.0.1 Update

*LevelUp message is shown again.
*Reduced the package size for 5%.

Supra RPG 1.2 for iOS, WP8 and W8

!New content "The Final Adventure"

-Explore the Desert, the Crypt and the Void.
-Defeat Sand Worm, Grandmancer and The Void Knight.
-Gather 12 different new items.
-4 new enemy types.
-FREE game extended up to the 5th world!
-Rebalanced enemy and player statistics (stat reset is recommended if high level)
-Skill reset available.
-Enemies redistributed across levels.

Supra RPG The Final Adventure - All platforms

It's been roughly a year, when I submitted the first version of Supra RPG to the store.

Trough several updates it became the game it should have been when it first launched.




"The Final Adventure" iOS(1.2), (W8/WP8 1.6) -update includes following:

-12 new items
-New item specialities
-3 new worlds
 Desert
 Crypt
 Void Zone
-4 new enemy types
 Necromancer
 Worm
 Rusher
 Bomber
-3 new bosses
 Sand Worm
 Grandmancer
 the Void Knight
-Sound effects (finally ?)
-Redistribution of skill points will be available
-Experience gain will be rebalanced
-Enemies rebalanced
-Enemy level layout changes

Supra RPG for iOS - 1.1 is in the store!

The patch 1.1 is available on the iTunes -store!


-Fixed crashes when [Reset saves] -> [Continue].
-Improved available control schemes.
-Bug/crash fixes.
-Made game more user friendly.
-Removed clutter from HUD.



















This is the patch that aims to address the most critical issues in the game.
Additional content, sound and balance are next on the list.
I will send the Update 1.2 package for certification later next week.

Supra RPG for iOS!

Supra RPG has been released for iOS; iPhone and Ipad! It's available for free in the app store. You can purchase all of the extra levels for a little change!
